CONVERGING at the BIEMH 2024
BIEMH 2024 held its 32nd edition from June 3 to 7 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre. The Machine-Tool Biennial is a leading international event that brings together experts from the technology sector, robotics, automation, machinery, quality control, and other fields related to industrial innovation. Visitors can learn firsthand about the latest advancements that drive greater competitiveness in the sector.
The CONVERGING project participated through our partner’s booth TECNALIA in the event where we had the opportunity to showcase two project demonstrators resulting from the collaborative efforts within CONVERGING. These exhibits highlighted our partners' contributions to two of the four CONVERGING use cases:
- Automotion for Ford: This use case delves into the automation of stamping machine die repair, particularly focusing on the polishing process.
- White Goods for Electrolux: This use case explores innovative assembly techniques for induction cooktops to optimize their production line.
These examples emphasize the practical application of our research and its direct impact on the industry.
