CONVERGING Kick-Off Meeting

The CONVERGING kick-off meeting was held in a hybrid mode at the premises of ELECTROLUX in Porcia, Italy between 21 – 22 September 2022. Panepistimio Patron (LMS) as the Project Coordinator, successfully organized the two days meeting and set the bases for a fruitful collaboration for the next years.

The project coordinator presented the CONVERGING project to the consortium and introduced the different partners at the meeting. Afterward, the work package leaders presented the objectives of each work package and the core challenges. The end of the first day was followed by a guided tour at the premises of the partner ELECTROLUX.

The consortium of CONVERGING consists of 16 partners from 9 countries (Greece, Spain, Italy, Israel, Germany, Luxemburg, Finland, Japan, United Kingdom) who will join forces to develop, deploy, validate and promote smart and reconfigurable production systems within the 4 years duration of the Project.

The kick-off meeting brought together the consortium for the first time and the partners had the opportunity to discuss and organize the next steps until the next meeting.
